Minnie Mouse Party ideas!

Recently I gave a MAGICAL Minnie Mouse Birthday party for my grand daughter, Madison. She loves "Mouse"! There are so many ideas for a fabulous party, I am giving you a couple ideas, just to get your mind going in a creative direction!

A Minnie Mouse Table will set the theme for the party. I bought polka dot fabric on line at Onlinefabricstore and made my table clothes for two tables. I purchased 3" pink ribbon on line at Onlinefabricstore to add to the table scape, tying long tailed bows at the table edge and pulling the polka dot fabric into a drape.

Next is the fun part of designing the tablescape! On the adult table, I used 7 small vases of flowers, three candle sticks I have had for years and two crystal candle lanterns. My hand painted candle sticks added a little interest to the table, creating height...I like to make the tablescape interesting with different heights.

The children's table is decorated with a floating Gerber flower and tiny white daisy's, Disney characters and stuffed animals....I even found Minnie Mouse thermal cups for toddlers!! The Minnie Mouse ribbon on the vase was found at JoAnn Fabrics, the Disney characters at JC Penney. JC Penney also carries thermal cups with the Minnie Mouse theme.

I have bought all my grandchildren these cute place settings to use when they visit Grandma and Grandpa. I originally found them at a club event. They are also available at Girly Twirly and Polka Dots and Moon Beams on line.

I bought each child a different theme, so cute, just look at little Coopers and sweet Olivia's place settings!! A couple of my Mom's loved the settings so much, they asked if they could take them home......OKAY! So, be prepared grandma, you might buy two!!

I sourced my cute Minnie Mouse napkin rings  from a Scrappy Kat on Etsy. They work perfect with paper napkins, but are tight with a linen or cloth napkin. She has many other Minnie and Mickey Mouse items, including invitations, that are adorable!

For the Minnie Mouse dessert, I created a "Cupcake and ice cream sundae bar"!! It was a huge hit! I made delicious red velvet cupcakes and frosted with buttercream. I sourced the hand made Minnie ears and bows from Etsy Luli Sweet Shop and had her put a "2" on some of the ears, so sweet! My cupcake papers were in my pantry...woohoo! I love polka dots and picked up two packs of these Meri Meri cupcake liners a few years ago at Sur la Table. I have seen black and white polka dot papers at the Dollar Store, Michaels and on Amazon.

I made Salted Butter Caramel sauce, and Hot Chocolate Fudge Sauce
both found on Sew Whats Cooking with Joan. Just click on the link. I had several different toppings that everyone loved picking and choosing! The cute little hand painted cups are easy to make or sourced on Etsy at Divine Glitters. I made the cute little wood ice cream spoons and put a little bow on each spoon!

These cute little take away Minnie Mouse cookies are made by Accessorize Boutique.
I also had a beverage dispenser filled with infused water and cute little plastic milk bottles with Minnie Mouse straws that I sourced through Etsy at Divine Glitters.
I didn't catch a picture of the bar...darn! But, here is a picture of the straw as shown on Divine Glitters website. I did pink stripe straws and a bow on the mouse head...cute!

And did the Birthday girl and her cousins enjoy the party...well I think these pictures tell the story!

This is the face of a happy Mini Madi!

  1. Spectacular is what comes to mind! Do you do anything easy? Madi is a dolly and should be in commercials, quite the personality showing through. What a fun blog! Jillian-Toronto
